It’s quite normal to develop a bruise when you’ve knocked yourself on some hard object. The tissues under the skin are injured and blood collects in the area. Some people bruise too easily and this may be due to a lack of nutrients in the diet, leading to malnutrition or anaemia. Heavy menstruation and smoking can be responsible also.
To help restore the integrity of blood-vessel walls, take a vitamin-C formula that contains biofluonoids. Take 500 milligrams of each twice a day for two to three weeks. Then take 500 milligrams daily for one month. If the bruising seems excessive, continue taking vitamin C for an additional two to three more months.
