Cataracts Herbal Treatment

Read more about...

Billberry has been used for over 200 years for eye problems. Experiments have shown that this herb can inhibit retinal degeneration and show the development of cataracts. The effectiveness of bilberry is tied to certain phytochemicals, called anthocyanidins, that it contains. Select a product containing 25percent anthocyanidins (also called PCOs) and take 80 milligrams two or three times daily.

Pine-bark and grape-seed extracts are valuable against inflammation and also have notable antioxidant effects. Take 25 to 50 milligrams of either three times daily.
