Hepar sulfuris calcareum is for eyes that are sensitive both to the touch and to air passing over them. The eyelids may be red and inflamed. Take one dose of Hepar sulfuris calcareum 12x or 6c three times daily, as needed.
Ipecac is for an infected eye accompanied by a feeling of nausea when you look at moving objects. Take one dose of Ipecac 12x or 6c three times daily, as needed, for up to three days.
Caution: Do not confuse homeopathic Ipecac with conventional syrup of ipecac. That is an entirely different product, and it should never be used except at the direction of a doctor or Poison Control Center.
